Custom sports trophies in Austin are easy to get when you work with a local shop that makes and engraves them in-house, and that is what we do at The Logo Store in South Austin. We build trophies, medals, and awards for leagues, clubs, tournaments, and end-of-season banquets. So instead of ordering online and hoping a box shows up before your event, you can pick yours up the same week, right here in Austin.
We have made custom gear and awards for Austin teams since 2016. Below is what we make, who we make it for, how to order for a whole season or a single tournament, and why a local shop beats a shipped order when your banquet date is locked in.
What Kinds of Custom Sports Trophies Can You Get in Austin?
You can get custom sports trophies in Austin for just about any level of play, from a youth rec league to an adult tournament. We match the award to the moment, whether that is a championship trophy or a small keepsake every player takes home. Popular picks include:
- Champion and first-place trophies: the big one for the league or tournament winner.
- MVP and all-star awards: single-player recognition with a name and season engraved.
- Placement trophies: first, second, and third for tournament brackets.
- Participation awards and medals: a take-home for every kid on the roster.
- Coach and volunteer awards: a thank-you for the people who ran the season.
- Banquet awards: most improved, best teammate, and team-values picks.
Sports Medals for Leagues and Tournaments
Medals are the easy call when you need something for every athlete, not just the top finishers. They hang around the neck, they run less per piece than a full trophy, and they work great for race finishers, tournament placers, and full rosters. We engrave the event name, the year, and a placement right onto each one.
So if you are running a tournament with dozens or hundreds of athletes, medals let you recognize everyone without breaking the budget. Trophies handle the top of the podium, and medals cover the rest. Plenty of events use both, with trophies for the winners and medals for every competitor.
Who Orders Custom Sports Trophies in Austin?
All kinds of Austin teams order custom sports trophies, and we build for each one a little differently. The common thread is a season or an event that ends with someone deserving recognition. We regularly make awards for:
- Youth rec leagues: end-of-season trophies or medals for every player.
- Club and select teams: championship and MVP awards for competitive squads.
- Tournament directors: placement trophies and medals for bracket play.
- Adult leagues: trophies for the softball, soccer, or kickball champs.
- Team parents: banquet awards organized for the whole roster.
So whether you coach one team or run a league of twenty, we size the order to fit. Tell us how many athletes you have and what you want to hand out, and we will help you land on the right mix.
What Are Custom Trophies and Awards Made Of?
Most trophies and awards come in a few materials, and each one fits a different budget and occasion. Here is the quick version:
- Acrylic: clean, modern, and easy on the budget for full-roster orders and rec leagues.
- Crystal and glass: a premium look for championship awards and banquet centerpieces.
- Metal and resin trophies: the classic cup-and-column look for league champions.
- Medals: metal with a ribbon, sized for participation or placement.
We laser engrave the names and details so they stay sharp and will not rub off. You can see our laser engraving work on our services page.

Tips for Ordering Team Trophies and Medals
A few small steps make a team award order go smoothly. Keep these in mind before you send your list:
- Double-check name spellings. Send your roster exactly how each name should read, since engraving is permanent.
- Match the award to your roster size. Trophies suit small teams and top finishers, medals suit big rosters and full events.
- Use one design across the league. A single layout keeps every team’s awards looking consistent.
- Add your league or team logo. Send a clean logo file and we will engrave it right onto the award.
- Order early. Give yourself a cushion before the banquet so a last-minute change is easy.
Why Buy Sports Trophies From a Local Austin Shop?
Youth and rec sports are a big part of life in Austin, and demand keeps growing. Nationally, about 55% of kids ages 6 to 17 played organized sports in 2023, and participation has climbed back past pre-pandemic levels. That means more leagues, more tournaments, and more end-of-season banquets that all need awards.
Buying local gives you an edge a shipped order cannot. We have run our South Austin shop since 2016, and we engrave every award in-house at 714 Shelby Lane. Here is what that means for your season:
- Hit your date: no tracking a package that might miss your banquet.
- Proof in person: check the spelling and layout before we engrave the batch.
- Handle a last-minute change: add a player or swap a name without restarting an online order.
- Same-week pickup: grab your trophies and medals right here in Austin.
How Long Do Custom Trophies Take?
Most custom trophy and medal orders are ready in 10 to 15 business days once we finalize your list and proof. If you are on a tight deadline, ask us about rush options and we will tell you what is doable. So even a last-minute tournament award is often possible.
Still, the safest move is to get us your list early. Banquet and tournament season fills up fast, and the sooner we have your names, the easier it is to hit your date.
Trophies and Team Gear in One Place
Since we also print and embroider, you can get your team’s gear and its awards from the same shop. That keeps your logo consistent across jerseys, warmups, and the trophy shelf. Take a look at our team spirit wear to pair apparel with your awards for the season.
